Cousin Island is only a few miles from Prslin Island, extends over 27 hectares and is entirely dedicated to nature.
Infact, this small green "Mecca" was made a nature reserve in 1968, when it was bought by the International Council for Bird Reservation, as a haven for endangered species of land and sea birds, with help from WWF and worldwide contributions. Furthermore, the Seychelles government nominated it a Special Reserve in 1975, offering all the wildlife on the island legal protection.
