Covering an area of 154 kilometers square, Mahe is the largest granite island in Seychelles. It is 27 kilometers long and 8 kilometers wide, and is covered with lush tropical vegetation. Arround 70000 people,90% of the whole country's population inhabits here. Victoria, the capital and the international airport are also located here.
